Low Level: Risk to student, target(s) and/or school is minimal. Threat is vague, spontaneous, indirect, and without malice. Little or vague plan. Threat is inconsistent, implausible, lacks detail, or realism. Student appears unlikely to carry out threat or become violent.Type option 1Medium Level: Threat is possible, could be carried out, not entirely realistic. No clear indication students has taken preparatory steps. Ambiguous & inconclusive details to plan.High Level: Threat poses an imminent and serious danger to the safety of self and/or others. Threat is specific and plausible. Very specific and detailed plan. Student has easy access to means (weapons, pills, etc). Student demonstrates considerable ability to carry out plan.

Low and/or Medium Level of Threat: Develop goal and plan to address behavior, teaching, and supporting new behavior. Set up a timeline to review, plan, and monitor interventions.
